The Web Extreme Entertainment - Customer Case Study

The Web Extreme Entertainment is a 56,000‑sq.‑foot family entertainment center in Cincinnati with laser tag, go‑karts, mini golf, arcade, restaurant and more. Owner Jerry Weber has used Gatemaster Technology since 1999, moving from Gatemaster Pro to Gatemaster E2 in 2010. Their challenge was to run scheduling, POS, arcade and redemption from a single integrated system—something Gatemaster provides—but E2’s flexibility means significant configuration, ongoing IT support and staff training to work around a few system limitations.

Gatemaster Technology implemented its integrated Gatemaster E2 solution to manage reservations, attraction scheduling, front‑ and back‑of‑house POS, arcade tracking, redemption and reporting from one computer. The switch eliminated multiple disparate systems, became the facility’s single source of truth, and delivered measurable efficiencies: redemption training can be done in about 15 minutes, bookings (food, room and laser tag) are handled in one workflow, and training/support overhead is substantially reduced—improving day‑to‑day operations at The Web Extreme Entertainment.
