Amber Oakley’s Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park in Middletown, Ohio operates five haunted houses plus live shows, a café, gift shop and seasonal attractions, staffing up to 150 employees per night. The park struggled with fragmented systems—one product for gate tickets and another for online sales—plus the need to manage season passes, party bookings and point-of-sale across multiple outlets. To solve this, Land of Illusion adopted Gatemaster Technology’s ticketing and POS software beginning in summer 2018.

Gatemaster Technology delivered an all‑in‑one solution that unified online and gate ticketing, party bookings and reporting, giving Amber a single system to view bar, concession and attraction sales. The change eliminated the need for two vendors (saving money and administration), simplified training (new hires can be trained in about five minutes), and improved online ticket sales and centralized reporting—making operations easier to manage and more cost‑effective for Land of Illusion.
