Brex scales its AP, FP&A and Accounting functions with Gappify

Brex, a private fintech company with about 1,100 employees, needed a better way to manage accruals as vendor volume grew and finance teams shifted focus to understanding spend more accurately. Manual confirmation emails, spreadsheet consolidation, and the need for a more buttoned-up review and approval process were making AP, FP&A, and Accounting work harder than it needed to be. Brex used Gappify to support accrual automation across its existing NetSuite and Coupa environment.

Gappify implemented automation for internal PO accruals, vendor confirmations, and auto-posting accrual JEs into NetSuite, while also providing a cloud-based Review Center for visibility into expense balances. The result was a shorter SG&A month-end close by 3 days, fewer adjusting accrual entries, less manual work and human error, and better accuracy and visibility into the financial impact before posting. Brex said Gappify helped scale AP, FP&A, and Accounting without adding headcount.
