Case Study: World Wildlife Fund (WWF) raises awareness for West Coast rock lobster conservation with GAPdesign

A GAPdesign Case Study

WWF helps save West Coast rock lobster with GAPdesign as only 2% remained

The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) faced the commercial extinction of the West Coast rock lobster, with only 2% of the population remaining due to overfishing and poor management. As a last resort, WWF turned to the courts and enlisted GAPdesign for graphic design and publication services to create compelling infographics for their campaign.

GAPdesign created infographics to explain the crisis and sustainable solutions, which were used successfully in WWF's court case. The court ruled in WWF's favor, starting the process of saving the species. The infographics were then repurposed for social media, significantly enhancing the campaign's noticeability and prolonging the lifespan of the case's facts long after the legal proceedings ended.
