GeoGuard, a Canadian-based company working in geolocation and person identification for the gambling industry, needed a better way to plan long-term, complex DevOps and infrastructure projects. Before using GanttPRO, the team relied on Excel and other tools, but struggled with resource and workload tracking, assigning work correctly, and managing dependencies and strict deadlines over timelines that could stretch up to three years.

GanttPRO helped the team distribute work more accurately, see the impact of staffing changes immediately, and pause a project when a key specialist left; two projects were successfully delivered, while the third was frozen until a replacement is found, and the company is now planning four new projects, including one lasting more than two years.
