The Space Runner - Customer Case Study

The Space Runner, a campaign for a bank's employees, partnered with Gametize to address the challenge of encouraging learning and development among its 6,000 staff in Singapore. The goal was to achieve a 50% participation rate and high engagement through a modern, appealing platform that could overcome the traditional, often daunting, approach to corporate learning.

Using the Gametize platform, the vendor implemented "The Space Runner," a space-themed game featuring 13 stations with 88 challenges. The solution used an engaging storyline, localized language, and a rewards store to motivate employees. While the participation rate was 7% (418 players) against a 50% goal, the solution did generate 10,538 challenge completions, averaging 25 completions per player. Gametize successfully created an immersive experience that promoted learning, though the case study notes areas for improvement in scalability and incentivization.
