A Gametize Case Study
Digital Life, a publication, launched the Diablo III Quest to boost engagement around the 2012 game release. They partnered with the vendor Gametize to power this initiative, which used gamification to channel fan enthusiasm into real-world activities.
Gametize implemented a web and mobile-based game featuring six themed challenges where participants earned points by sharing photos and getting social likes. This solution was highly successful, engaging over 760 participants in 12 days and generating more than 8,500 social activities. The campaign significantly increased fan interaction and introduced new people to the Diablo III brand.
