Asia’s first gamified event brings fun to a whole new level using its mobile app

ideas.inc., an organization running a business challenge platform for entrepreneurs, sought to increase participant engagement and interaction at its 2012 conference. To address this, they turned to the vendor Gametize and used its gamification platform to power the official event app.

Gametize implemented a solution where participants used a mobile app to complete challenges, scan exhibitor QR codes, and earn points redeemable for prizes. This approach significantly boosted engagement, resulting in over 1,300 connections made and 1,381 challenges completed by 350 participants. The organizers credited Gametize with greatly increasing social interaction and adding a new layer of excitement to the event.
