A leading multinational automotive company aimed to enhance engagement and digitize the voting process for its annual accelerator program's Shark Tank event. The client wanted to create meaningful, real-time interactions between the startup teams, judges ("sharks"), and the audience, while also needing a platform to quickly tabulate and display results. They partnered with the vendor, Gametize, to implement this solution using its gamification platform.
Gametize created two separate, real-time voting games, FIT2018 (Shark) and FIT2018 (Audience), which utilized prediction challenges to engage participants. The solution successfully gamified the event for 183 users, achieving an 86% engagement rate and over 2,250 challenge completions within an hour. The platform enabled instant vote tabulation, fostered deeper connections between all participants, and provided valuable insights into audience sentiments for the startups.
