UMass Athletics, the University of Massachusetts’ Division I program, wanted a better way to support student-athlete development while also meeting NCAA education requirements. They worked with Game Plan and its eLearning library to supplement their programming with courses that could be assigned by class year and customized with UMass-specific content.

Game Plan implemented a structured learning approach that used summer assignments, core student-athlete development topics, and custom courses covering areas like Title IX and Financial Aid. As a result, UMass was able to deliver developmental education year-round, improve progress tracking, and ensure student-athletes completed required annual NCAA education topics more efficiently.
