Case Study: East Carolina University saves time on student-athlete development with Game Plan

Saving time by complementing hands-on student-athlete development activities with online learning

East Carolina University partnered with Game Plan to support its Life Skills programming for student-athletes. Before the partnership, staff spent a significant amount of time delivering background information in a classroom setting, which limited the time available for one-on-one development activities.

Game Plan provided learning management tools so ECU could move certain Life Skills content online for student-athletes to complete on their own time. This saved staff time, allowed more focus on hands-on and individualized support, and helped the athletics department showcase its commitment to student-athlete development to prospective recruits and parents.
