Case Study: Big South Conference expands student-athlete career, financial literacy, and prevention education with Game Plan

Providing career opportunities, financial literacy & sexual assault prevention education from the top down

The Big South Conference partnered with Game Plan to better support student-athletes beyond athletics and academics. Its member schools needed a more efficient way to provide professional training, financial literacy education, and access to job opportunities without piecing together multiple programs across different platforms.

Game Plan delivered a unified platform with learning courses and career center services, including training on financial literacy and sexual assault prevention. As a result, Big South Conference member schools gained access to resources they previously couldn’t afford, while conference leadership also gained a valuable tool for attracting sponsors by offering recruitment access to student-athletes for internships and full-time jobs.
