The University of South Dakota partnered with Game Plan to strengthen student-athlete development and deliver career planning support at scale. Before using Game Plan, the athletics department lacked a way to provide online student-athlete education and wanted a better way to engage freshmen early while highlighting its commitment to comprehensive development for recruits and their families.

With Game Plan’s eLearning curriculum, the University of South Dakota now introduces new student-athletes to career planning during fall freshman seminar classes and uses the platform in recruiting visits to showcase support for success in academics, athletics, and beyond. Game Plan helped the university create a clearer structure for career guidance and make professional development a visible priority, though no specific numerical impact was reported.
