Iveco Group aligns culture with Gallup through a 29,000-employee voice survey

Iveco Group, a global automotive leader, faced the challenge of defining its own purpose and values after separating from its parent company. The organization needed to move beyond its top-down, operational history to engage a changing workforce and align its culture with its new strategic goals. To address this, Iveco Group partnered with Gallup to conduct a comprehensive culture audit.

Gallup's solution involved a bottom-up process to give all employees a voice through a companywide engagement survey called "Voice." This was followed by collaborative visioning with leadership, global storytelling sessions, and the use of Gallup's Q12+ engagement survey to sustain the effort. The results were highly positive, with 29,000 employees participating in the initial survey and 15,000 providing open-ended feedback. This led to the successful definition of a new purpose and values, created a greater sense of belonging among employees, and established a 95% participation rate in subsequent engagement sessions. Gallup helped Iveco Group align its culture with its aspirations and build a more engaged, unified global workforce.
