Miraj Cinemas Singnificantly Improves Its Performance With the Help of Gajshield

Miraj Cinemas, part of Miraj Entertainment Limited, needed a more reliable and secure network setup for its 25+ cinema outlets, where online bookings depended on a primary MPLS connection. The company was facing downtime risks, inconsistent performance, and the challenge of implementing MPLS failover in bridge mode without changing IP addresses on its ISP routers. GajShield’s next generation firewall solution was chosen to address these needs.

GajShield implemented next generation firewall appliances in HA mode at Miraj’s data center, with adaptive WAN failover, load balancing, bridge-mode interface termination, zone-based failover, and customized NAT for failover/fallback. This allowed Miraj Cinemas to connect multiple MPLS links for redundancy, automatically reroute traffic during link failures, and improve uptime and performance consistency across all outlets. Miraj reported that the problem was resolved effectively, with reduced downtime and better network performance overall.
