GajShield Provides Next Generation Firewall Solution to Centurion University of Technology & Management Along With Advance Bandwidth Management System for Students

Centurion University of Technology & Management, an education institution in Odisha, needed to strengthen its network security as its campus network grew. The university faced challenges with user authentication, blocking proxy applications, restricting unauthorized access, protecting internal servers, and controlling student bandwidth usage beyond campus. GajShield provided its Next Generation Firewall solution, GS 960dc, to address these needs.

GajShield implemented an ICSA-certified firewall with URL and application filtering, gateway antivirus, IPS filtering, traffic analysis, network behavior analysis, and bandwidth management. The solution introduced mandatory user authentication and bandwidth quotas for students, automatically terminating access once data limits were reached.
