How Gaist are helping Freedom Fibre Get It Right First Time

Freedom Fibre, a UK fibre infrastructure provider, needed a more accurate way to plan and design network rollouts. They were experiencing issues common in telecoms planning, where existing records didn’t match on-the-ground reality, creating risk of errors, extra survey work, and costly recall of works teams. To address this, Freedom Fibre partnered with Gaist and used its geolocated survey data and high-definition 360-degree imagery to improve early-stage design.

Gaist integrated its data into Freedom Fibre’s APX GIS system, giving the design team reliable desktop access to up-to-date local infrastructure information. This helped Freedom Fibre correct inaccuracies at the design stage, reduce wasted resources, and move forward with a “right first time” approach. The company has used Gaist across more than 17 projects, improving rollout speed, lowering costs, and supporting better service for end users.
