The Weather Company wanted to bring employees across its growing, acquisition-heavy organization onto one email and collaboration platform. Each business had been operating independently with a mixed set of tools, and CIO Bryson Koehler said G Suite was a better fit than Microsoft Office 365 because of its single user licensing and integrated approach.

The Weather Company rolled out G Suite with help from Cloud Sherpas about two months before the story was written. The move helped centralize collaboration with Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Hangouts Meet, replacing scattered document sharing and personal Box and Dropbox accounts while giving employees more seamless ways to work from different devices.
