Shaw Industries, a leading commercial carpet and flooring provider, was struggling with collaboration, scalability, and stability in its previous email setup as the company grew to 25,000 employees across 200 locations worldwide. The IT team also needed three full-time employees just to keep email running, and the company wanted a better way to work across dispersed global teams.

Shaw Industries moved to G Suite by Google Cloud in 2012, using tools like Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Hangouts. The company said Microsoft Office 365 would have cost about 13 times more, budgeting time was cut by about two months, or 50 percent, and staff meetings were reduced from an hour to 30 minutes with Hangouts Meet.
