Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams is an artisan ice-cream company that needed a better way to manage the many moving parts of a growing business, from ingredients and employee scheduling to inventory and quality control. As the company expanded from its first shop in Grandview Heights, Ohio, to 10 stores across Ohio and Tennessee, it turned to G Suite to help keep teams aligned.

With G Suite, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams used Google Docs to share information from the kitchen with planning teams at each location and to get real-time visibility into ice cream, packaging, and staffing needs for online order spikes. The company also used Google Docs forms to collect store feedback on each batch, helping adjust recipes such as Whiskey Pecan Ice Cream, and Jeni Britton Bauer even wrote her best-selling cookbook in Google Docs.
