Interconnect Systems, a South African technology company founded in 1986, needed a more reliable email system to support its 600 employees across 17 branches. Its previous on-premises servers were often down, which put customer SLAs, response times, and the company’s reputation at risk. Interconnect Systems turned to G Suite and Gmail to address the instability and to give its mobile workforce better access to information.

With G Suite, Interconnect Systems moved to Gmail in March 2015 and has stayed online ever since, with no downtime and no hassles. The company also uses Google Docs, Google Forms, Google Sheets, and Hangouts Meet to simplify procurement, support collaboration, and run meetings across locations. Two years after the migration, Interconnect Systems reported zero downtime and 383 active users on G Suite.
