Goibibo, a travel company founded in 2007, operates websites and apps for hotel, airline, bus, and train bookings. As the business grew, it needed better document sharing and collaboration across teams in different offices, along with a more scalable way to support its website and mobile application.

Goibibo moved its engineering and product teams to G Suite, using Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive for collaboration and document sharing. It also used Google Cloud Vision API for hotel guest identity scanning and Firebase for real-time mobile features. The company says G Suite improved agility and productivity, helped reduce the time, effort, and risk of sharing documents, and supported expansion into Southeast Asia and the Middle East; its identity-scanning pilot also expanded from 1,000 hotels to 5,000 hotels, with hotels reporting improved net promoter scores.
