Globeflight Taking the hassle out of email with G Suite

Globeflight, a South African courier and logistics provider founded in 1998, turned to G Suite when its email system could no longer keep up with rapid growth. By 2014, with more than 1,500 employees, frequent outages and heavy server maintenance were slowing communication and adding strain to the IT team.

G Suite replaced Globeflight’s email servers with Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Hangouts, and Vault, with implementation support from Google Partner Opennetworks. The change freed IT from managing email servers, improved live collaboration across offices, reduced travel between locations, and created easier, more secure file backup, resulting in considerable savings for Globeflight.
