Design Within Reach, a modern furniture and design retailer with 44 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada, needed a better way to support collaboration when it moved its corporate office from California to Connecticut in 2009. Its previous technology required multiple servers and made it hard to share store promotion schedules, layouts, and other updates quickly across headquarters and stores.

With help from G Suite reseller Cloud Sherpas, Design Within Reach implemented G Suite from Google Cloud. The company now uses shared calendars for in-store promotions and Google Docs to track inventory across locations, which helps employees find product availability faster and keep information current. Design Within Reach says G Suite has improved communication and helped create a more consistent customer experience across its stores.
