Canada Games Council is a non-profit organization that organizes the Canada Games, a multi-sport event held every two years in Canada. Using G Suite tools including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Hangouts Meet, Sheets, and Docs, Canada Games Council moved more than 450,000 files into the cloud and gave volunteers and employees shared access to up-to-date information. The change cut operational planning time by 50%, reduced planning from 2 years to 1 year, streamlined logistics for 4,000 traveling athletes, and saved host cities up to $2.5 million in infrastructure and support costs.
