BBVA, the customer-centric global financial services group founded in Spain in 1857, wanted technology that would do more than improve day-to-day efficiency. The company said staying at the forefront of technology and business practices was key to its success, and it chose G Suite to help teams collaborate more easily across more than 30 countries.

BBVA said it was migrating its business to G Suite, including Gmail, Google Hangouts Meet, Google Sites and Google Docs, to create a new way of working. The company expected better collaboration, faster access to information from any device, and higher productivity through real-time document editing and fewer version updates. BBVA also used Google’s collaboration tools to build its new global intranet, High Performance Desktop.
