Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), India’s largest FMCG company, needed a better way to train its territory sales officers, who had strong theoretical knowledge but struggled to apply it in real market situations. To address this challenge, HUL worked with G-Cube on a learning solution focused on sales training for its dealer and retail stockist network.

G-Cube designed and deployed the “Retail Stockist Management Simulation,” a business simulation built around real-life scenarios, case studies, animations, job aids, and forced learning milestones across three stages. The solution helped learners practice decision-making in a virtual environment, complete with feedback, help prompts, and certificates, and it received a tremendous response within two months of launch, especially given that it was not mandatory.
