PepsiCo worked with vendor G-Cube to address a cost-effective training challenge in the FMCG sector, where high attrition, a large contract merchandising workforce, and diverse language needs made traditional classroom training impractical. The company also wanted a clear assessment window to measure how effective the program was.
G-Cube implemented a multi-lingual e-learning solution split into two learner tracks, using 3D visualization to create a virtual shop for experiential practice. The training explained technical merchandising terms through visuals and multimedia, and offered content in four regional languages. As a result, learners reported a strong learning experience, gained practical merchandising skills, and were better able to achieve sales targets.
