TASA, the Texas Association of School Administrators, needed a better way to manage expenses as 22 employees used 15 credit cards. Using Sage Expense Management (formerly Fyle), the nonprofit was struggling with manual receipt tracking, slow reconciliations, GL and class coding complexity, and approval bottlenecks.
Sage Expense Management implemented real-time Visa transaction syncing, SMS receipt prompts, structured coding and approval workflows, and QuickBooks Desktop integration. As a result, TASA cut receipt collection time to under 30 minutes for many submissions, reduced reconciliation from up to two days to under 2 minutes per receipt, saved 6–8 hours per month on manual QuickBooks entry, and got expense reports approved in 2–4 days.
