Royal Farms, a rapidly expanding convenience-store operator with more than 250 locations and adding 20–25 stores annually, found its finance team outgrowing the reporting capabilities of the PDI Enterprise ERP. CFO Josh Wolfe sought a solution to replace a highly manual Excel- and PDF-based monthly reporting process (importing from PDI, refreshing templates, splitting 600+ page PDFs, and emailing packages) and to give store and district leaders easier self-service access to financials. The solution is expected to eliminate most administrative monthly tasks, speed report review for district managers, reduce accounting inquiries, and lower spreadsheet error risk; FYIsoft cites efficiency improvements of 50% or more. Royal Farms is in implementation and projects significant time savings and improved accuracy once fully live.
