A FYIsoft Case Study
Marley Management Corporation, a private partner group founded in 1991 that provides management, accounting, tax and real estate investment services for nearly 200 companies, faced an extremely complex reporting environment requiring book-, tax- and fair-market-value reporting for partners, boards and lenders. Producing monthly sets (trial balance, balance sheet, income, cash flow, investment reports) across ~200 entities meant roughly 2,000 different reports and an onerous FRx-based process that created thousands of cash‑flow and customized reports. Marley evaluated and selected FYIsoft’s financial reporting solution to address these challenges.
FYIsoft converted Marley’s existing FRx reports (about 3,600) and, using a familiar Rows/Columns/Organizations design, enabled rapid adoption with little learning curve. Marley standardized and cloned report templates across entities, gained flexible segment-level reporting tied to their ledgers, and achieved book/tax/fair-market reporting in real time. The result: reports that once took IT support or weeks to build can now be recreated in hours and run in seconds, dramatically streamlining monthly reporting and reducing manual effort thanks to FYIsoft.
