Haribo, the European sweets maker with 19 production sites and 10 distribution centres, faced a complex supply-chain challenge: forecasting and delivering the right mix across some 800 product varieties, managing promotions and seasonality, and replacing labour‑intensive manual planning. To address this, Haribo implemented FuturMaster demand and promotion planning software and introduced a structured S&OP process.
FuturMaster’s solution automated forecasting, production scheduling and promotional planning, raising forecast accuracy from about 60% to 80% and driving service levels to roughly 98%. Within two years FuturMaster helped cut slow‑moving and obsolete stock by two‑thirds and reduced wastage/obsolete stock by about 5%, while Haribo France’s sales rose 1.7% (versus a market drop), demonstrating measurable supply‑chain and commercial impact.
