The customer, Nesnězeno, a company in the gastro industry, faced the challenge of thousands of unsold meals being thrown away by restaurants daily. Futured rebuilt the app from the ground up, adding features like a multi-restaurant shopping cart, a mobile-friendly module for restaurant staff, and Apple Pay. This solution resulted in the app consistently ranking in the top 5 on the App Store and Google Play, saving over 300 kg of food every week by 2020. The partnership with Futured helped Nesnězeno save over 1000 tons of food and prevent 9,300+ tons of unnecessary greenhouse gas emissions.
