Tullamore Show, Ireland’s largest one-day agricultural show, needed a better way to handle high on-site cash volumes, long ticket queues, weather-related risk, and real-time ticket scanning across nine entrances on a remote 250-acre site with limited connectivity. They turned to Future Ticketing for a ticketing solution designed to improve access control and reduce reliance on cash.

Future Ticketing implemented live scanning via a mobile app and laser scanners that could work over 3G in low-connectivity areas, along with the Clover Ticketshop app for card and contactless payments and instant barcoded ticket printing. The result was exponentially higher pre-event online sales, strong early-bird revenue secured before the event, safer on-the-day cash handling, and easier live and post-event revenue reconciliation for Tullamore Show.
