Galway Races, home to the internationally recognised Galway Races Summer Festival, needed a flexible digital ticketing system to handle large, multi-day events, improve mobile sales, provide detailed reporting, and speed up entry across multiple racecourse access points. Future Ticketing was selected to replace their existing approach with a modern, branded ticketing platform that could support the scale and complexity of Race Week and other race meetings.

Future Ticketing implemented a customised UX with a four-step online purchase flow, deep website integration, open API connectivity, and fast access control capable of up to 60 entries per second. The solution gave Galway Races real-time sales and redemption data, proprietary access to customer data for analytics, and flexible tools for managing varied ticket types, group packages, and event-specific pricing. As a result, Galway Races has improved conversions, grown younger and family audiences, strengthened group sales, and supported live operational decisions across events attracting more than 140,000 attendees in a week.
