Practo is a cloud-based practice management platform used by clinics across India to manage appointments, case histories, treatments and financials, serving over 500 doctors and handling more than 500,000 records daily. To help clinics compare revenues, analyze expenditures and track appointment trends, Practo needed a lightweight, cross-client charting solution that was easy to customize and integrate into its LAMP/Zend/jQuery stack.

After evaluating several libraries, Practo adopted FusionCharts for its Flash visuals with a JavaScript fallback, JSON API and extensive documentation, enabling quick integration and customization. The result was an attractive, interactive analytics module (showing income by treatment and doctor, appointments, expenses, etc.) that improved operational visibility for users, earned strong customer praise and convinced Practo to continue using FusionCharts in future development.
