ITS Tertiary Software provides administrative software and services to African tertiary institutions (student management, resource allocation, finance, payroll) and built an analytics platform to support operations. They needed charting in two dashboards — a Team Dashboard for monitoring strategic business-unit objectives and a Client Dashboard to give customers transparent SLA and service data — and required a Flash/Flex-compatible component that worked with UNIX and Oracle and supported Gantt charts, gauges and standard chart types.

They chose FusionCharts for Flex and used its MXML integration, documentation and support forums to quickly build and iterate dashboards.
