Case Study: Orbitvu achieves architectural flexibility, centralized SSO, and cost savings with FusionAuth

A FusionAuth Case Study

Preview of the Orbitvu Case Study

Orbitvu chose FusionAuth for architectural flexibility, great support, and customizability

Orbitvu, a maker of automated product photography hardware and web-based eCommerce imaging solutions, needed a modern, flexible authentication platform to replace a legacy CAS setup and support SPAs, microservices, and multiple internal and customer-facing applications. They required OAuth2/OIDC/SAML support (with Google sign-on), localization, UI theming, on‑prem deployment options, and an easy migration path for existing user password hashes — needs that led them to choose FusionAuth.

FusionAuth was deployed as their OAuth2/OIDC/SAML server (running on standalone Tomcat in a two-instance, highly available cluster with Elasticsearch and PostgreSQL) and integrated with systems like Freshdesk and ScreenSteps while proving a POC with Odoo. FusionAuth enabled seamless SSO across Orbitvu’s applications, centralized user management, smooth password-hash migration, strong customization and localization, and lower operating costs and maintenance compared with alternatives — delivering faster integrations and reduced auth overhead for Orbitvu.
