Maila Networks Centralized Authentication With FusionAuth On OpenStack

Maila Networks, a service provider in southern Brazil, needed a better way to handle authentication, logging, and search across multiple systems. The team used FusionAuth to replace an existing hotspot authentication setup and began exploring it for other login flows, including WiFi hotspot applications and email servers.

FusionAuth centralized authentication into a single application running on an OpenStack cluster behind Nginx, simplifying operations and making it easier to scale by adding nodes. Maila Networks said FusionAuth saved them from building their own application, which they estimated would have taken around six months to develop, while also reducing the time spent hunting through logs on different servers.
