Become Education chooses FusionAuth for IDaaS

Become Education, a Careers Education as a Service company for grades 5–10, needed a scalable identity solution to replace classroom access keys and support SSO, OAuth, passwordless logins and integration with school OpenID IdPs while meeting custom domain and data residency concerns. To solve this they chose FusionAuth as their IDaaS provider.

FusionAuth was integrated using OAuth and the supplied login UI, with Become Education driving account creation via the FusionAuth API and using the FusionAuth user.id as the canonical user identifier. Running on a three‑node AKS cluster in Azure, FusionAuth let the team focus on core features instead of building auth from scratch, sped product release, enabled passwordless workflows that addressed school needs, protected their APIs, and simplified account syncing and operational scaling.
