Toyota - Customer Case Study

Toyota New Zealand, a long-time JD Edwards customer, needed stronger infrastructure support and better ways to manage core business processes across vehicle operations, procurement, archiving, and user training. Working with Fusion5, Toyota also wanted to reduce costs and business disruption while improving visibility, governance, and service delivery for its dealer network and customers.

Fusion5 implemented and supported a range of solutions including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ARCTOOLS, ApprovalPlus, and Oracle UPK. The JD Edwards upgrade to 9.1 was completed with minimal disruption, while moving vehicle processes into one system reduced management costs and improved information access. ApprovalPlus removed paper-based approvals and improved control over spend, ARCTOOLS protected data integrity through archiving, and UPK sped up testing and training; together, these changes helped Toyota maintain efficiency and support its market-leading position in New Zealand.
