Streamlining student enrolment with Dynamics CRM and SharePoint

Lincoln University, one of New Zealand’s oldest universities, needed to streamline a fragmented, paper-heavy enrolment process that relied on multiple systems, duplicated data entry, and manual document handling. The university wanted a single online experience for students and staff, and chose Fusion5 to help build it using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint.

Fusion5 designed and implemented the MyLinc single-portal solution, integrating Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, PeopleSoft, and accommodation systems to create a more seamless digital enrolment journey. The result was a significant increase in applications, reduced calls to staff, less manual follow-up on missing documents, and a more student-centric process, with better visibility for scholarships and stronger data security in the Microsoft cloud.
