Discount Tire Direct partnered with Fusion Risk Management to strengthen its business continuity program and address gaps in planning for newer SAP ERP solutions. As a large independent tire and wheel dealer with 1,000 locations nationwide, the company needed a more sustainable, structured approach to business continuity and better engagement from plan owners.
Fusion Risk Management implemented the Fusion Framework System to help Discount Tire Direct refresh its entire program by engaging nine business segments, rating more than 200 business processes, developing 22 business continuity plans, and validating them through tabletop exercises in about six months. The result was stronger leadership buy-in, improved user engagement, clearer business impact management, and better reporting for executives, giving Discount Tire Direct a firmer foundation for future expansion into IT disaster recovery, crisis management, and integrated risk management.
