Successful integration of complex data sources into business critical reports for multiple stakeholders

Guardian Financial Services faced the challenge of blending five highly complex and disparate data sources, including SQL databases, corrupted XML files, Excel, and APIs. This integration was critical for areas like fraud detection and credit scoring, requiring the application of complex actuarial formulas to meet the needs of internal teams and the Financial Conduct Authority. They engaged Fusion Analytics to develop a solution using WPS Analytics to overcome this.

Fusion Analytics implemented an Extract Transform Load (ETL) process using WPS Analytics to connect, clean, and transform the data. The solution output the data to various environments and, through Power BI reporting, successfully met approximately 150 management information requirements. Fusion Analytics delivered the flexible solution on budget, adapting to changing needs and earning high praise from the client for making their complex assignment easier.
