Nordnet - Customer Case Study

Nordnet, an operator of a refrigerated warehouse in Estonia, sought to reduce its substantial electricity costs and environmental impact. They partnered with Fusebox to leverage its demand response platform, seeking a solution that would not interfere with their core business of storing perishable goods.

Fusebox integrated Nordnet's cold storage into its automated platform, allowing the facility to provide flexibility to the Baltic power grid by temporarily reducing its energy consumption during peak demand. This solution generated significant additional revenue for Nordnet, covering up to 10% of its monthly electricity bill. Furthermore, the program achieved an annual reduction of 44 tons of CO2 emissions and provided 200 kW of automated flexibility, all without any impact on Nordnet's core storage operations.
