How Seasalt Used Social Learning to Extend Comms, Community & Culture

Seasalt Cornwall, a fast-growing UK fashion and lifestyle brand, needed a modern learning approach that could keep pace with rapid expansion, improve onboarding, and make knowledge easier to access across stores. Its previous face-to-face training model created silos, inconsistent performance, and little visibility into whether employees were engaging with learning. Seasalt turned to Fuse Universal and its learning and knowledge platform, Fuse, to help solve these challenges.

Fuse Universal implemented Fuse as “The Anchor,” giving Seasalt a central hub for learning, internal communications, community, and culture, with social learning communities for stores and later a Supplier Hub for more than 65 suppliers. The results were immediate and strong: Seasalt reported 83% active users at launch, rising to a consistent 95% monthly active engagement even during furlough, while the platform also supported business continuity during Covid and faster, more consistent communication and reskilling across the organization.
