How Joules Used Collaborative Learning to Build Culture and Create Community

Joules, the UK premium lifestyle brand, needed a faster, more consistent way to share product knowledge, support learning for all employees, and improve communication across a dispersed workforce. Before using Fuse Universal’s platform, learning was largely “filtered down” through managers, the company’s document library was hard to navigate, and there was limited visibility into learning needs or the ability to support collaboration in the flow of work.

Fuse Universal implemented a mobile-ready, social and collaborative learning platform that became Joules’ central hub for learning, internal communications, community support, and wellbeing during Covid-19. The result was a major increase in engagement, with monthly active usage rising from 27% at the start of 2020 to 81% by June 2020, and Joules also moved from a Best Companies 1-star rating to 3 stars.
