DigDeep, a human rights nonprofit focused on bringing clean water to Americans, faced the challenge of needing to quickly pivot its fundraising strategy for World Water Day 2020 after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The crisis heightened the urgency of its mission, as its clients' lack of water increased their risk of contracting the virus.
Using the Funraise platform to refocus its campaign and create a new campaign site, DigDeep successfully tied its need to a global rallying cry. The solution from Funraise enabled them to double their World Water Day donations year-over-year during the pandemic, raising $130,044 in 2020. Overall, DigDeep has raised over $11.5 million through Funraise from more than 40,000 donors, creating a life-changing impact for over 2 million people.
