Caixa Econômica Federal, one of Brazil’s largest banks with over 200,000 employees and 75 million customers, faced low adoption of its digital channels because many customers preferred conducting transactions at physical agencies. To address this, Caixa partnered with Funifier to launch a gamification campaign called "Promotion Type" on the Funifier platform to motivate customers to use mobile and internet banking.

Using Funifier’s gamification solution, customers earn points for accessing the mobile app, completing internet-banking transactions, and inviting friends; points qualify them for monthly draws of smartphones and travel packages.
