Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence in Kansas faced growing pains as donor lists, events, and fundraising activity outgrew their FundRaiser Basic system. New development director Erika Zimmerman found Basic couldn’t link sponsors to multiple events or store all the donor codes and details the organization needed, making it hard to notify supporters and track campaign activity accurately.

Erika upgraded to FundRaiser Select and found the migration quick and straightforward, with only minor manual code edits. Select’s expanded reporting and accounting reconciliation tools, plus a lapsed-donor report and color-coded Master list, allowed the Club to re-engage long-absent donors, improve donation tracking, and, despite state and local budget cuts, maintain fundraising revenue roughly equal to the prior year.
